Mrs.
Maria Snipe – Chief Executive Officer
Maria A. Snipe has been a professional educator for over 20
years with a variety of roles. She has served as a Special
Education Teacher, a Special Education Coordinator, Teacher
Mentor, Vice Principal and a Principal. She has taught students
from Kindergarten up to Eighth Grade.
Mrs. Snipe has earned the following professional
certifications in Pennsylvania: Elementary Principal
Administrative ll, Principal K-12 Administrative I, Teacher
Certification – Mentally and or Physically Handicapped,
Instructional II. In addition, she is a member of the
Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School
Principals; Association of Supervision and Curriculum
Development; and the National Middle School Association.
The
philosophy of Alliance for Progress Charter School is based on
the belief that all children are entitled to a quality
education. Every child can learn and it is the responsibility
of each educator at APCS to ensure that all children learn
according to their abilities. Under Mrs. Snipe's leadership,
APCS continues to be a safe place where children flourish in
every facet of their educational experience
