Welcome to Alliance for Progress, a mission-driven, K-7 charter school, rooted in North Philadelphia.  Founded in 1998 by the Women's Christian Alliance, a non-sectarian social service agency serving the community for more than 80 years, AFPCS offers enhanced educational opportunity to children in surrounding neighborhoods and beyond.

We are committed to educational equity, to ensuring the finest education to all the children who attend our school.  Our teachers and staff share our sense of mission.  All work together for the betterment of our families, our communities and our society as a whole.
